Monarch Handling Stocks
The Monarch Handling Stocks are now widely used by
many yards, veterinary practises and studs.
For improved safety the use of the handling stock
is especially useful in situations where horses are
not regularly handled, they can restrained easily
and safely without fear of injury to horse or handler.
Veterinary inspection of mares can be done with ease
and without distress, including the use of scanners.
Expensive therapy equipment can also be used safely
with less danger of damage caused by restless horses.
The stocks are constructed of an extremely strong
framework which is bolted to the floor for extra security.
The doorway is constructed to the same high specification
as our internal stables, the steel framework infill
with 33/35mm plantation grown hardwood timber.
The adjustable height sides and front door are padded
with close cell foam and will all swing open to allow
the horse to either walk straight through or be removed
from the side.
The sides are designed to give easy access to the
horse’s lower body and legs without the need
for extra assistance to keep them still.
The stocks have been designed to hold the Monarch
Solarium
which allows the horse to be treated with the solarium
while other
treatments are taking place.
