Retirement Livery Tour
We recently visited Shadowmere Retirement Livery in Lincolnshire to see their 5 star facilities and get a tour of their yard.
Working with the fantastic Harry Sykes Equine Videography, who as well as owning his own horses has worked many times with them, therefore having the understanding and patience that is required.
We were warmly greeted on site by the lovely Lizzie, Chris and family, who showed us around their newly completed equestrian facility.
Regal Victorian Stables
This beautiful new facility includes eight 14’0 x 14’0 Regal Victorian stables. Complete with 50/50 divisions, which provide both privacy and social interaction when required. Running along the outside of the building are stunning laminated glass top & bottom door sets. These ensure there is always quick access to the turn out pens.
At the far end of the building are two cross tie posts with 10’0 ladder style wash bay divisions. These are hinged to allow easy access to the side of the Horse when grooming and washing, or when using the Solarium.
Lizzie and Chris chose our classic hardwood infills, along with having all of the steel work black powder coated, which really adds to the WOW factor!
Equine Retirement Livery in Lincolnshire
No details have been missed during the planning and designing process of this build, with special thought going into the name ‘Shadowmere’, which is named after the families beloved thoroughbred.
